VITEC VISIOLINK WEB APP 2.0
Overview
The Web App 2.0 project aim to improve the user experience, design of the previous Web App platform along with the addition of new features and more customization options. The Web App is the web platform for media houses to distribute their E-Paper content and make it accessible for the end users through a web browser. On the front page the content is discovered through the scroll-able content modules and the menu points in the left side panel. The modules and side panel points along with assets such as colors, logos and icon can be customized to fit the brand of the media house.

Responsive Design
To ensure the best user experience a responsive design was ensured. The Web App is designed to provide the user with full functionality whether the end user is using a desktop, tablet or phone device. This is achieved by collapsing the side panel and top bar options into a burger menu, hide the text in the bottom reader bar and establishing variants of the content modules to fit the content regardless of the width of the screen.

Search and Discover
One of the main features of the E-Paper is the possibility to browse previous publications and search through content. Features such as a date range when searching and a date picker that makes it easy to browse to the desired date has been designed from scratch to make the experience easier and more enjoyable for the end user.

Enhanced Reading Experience
The PDF pages can be seen as the back bone and foundation of the E-Paper, which makes it important not the alter the reading experience when trying to provide the end user with more features and information. Therefore the “highlight toggle” feature was created, which allows the end user to toggle on / off clickable areas and provide a contextual actions menu, which gives the users more options for the content.
